MARKETS

Mallorca’s markets liven up the island every day of the week. On Monday, activity begins in the towns of Calvià, Manacor, and Caimari. Tuesday brings the action to Alcúdia, Artà, Santa Margalida, and Porreres. On Wednesday, the tradition continues in Sineu, home to the island’s oldest market, as well as in Andratx, Capdepera, Port de Pollença, and Santanyí. On Thursday, the stalls come to life in Inca, known for being the largest and most renowned market for leather goods, along with Campos, El Arenal, and San Lorenzo. On Friday, the stalls move to Algaida, Can Picafort, Llucmajor, and Son Servera. Saturday offers the opportunity to visit the markets of Sóller, Santanyí, Cala Ratjada, and the organic and artisan market in Palma. Finally, on Sunday the week ends on a high note with the markets of Pollença, Alcúdia, Felanitx, Sa Pobla and Santa Maria del Camí.
